Holiday Coast Credit Union is a strong advocate of community engagement and the ability to support various programs in all of the following areas namely welfare, environment, social, education, sport and culture and the arts is a key part of our overall social responsibility.
We see the engagement of our staff within their communities as being a pivotal foundation for our carriage of the responsibilities of the credit union in the expression of our mutual benefit.
Our interpretation of mutuality is aligned to the notion that anything we do must be in the interest of the member, or the member will not be a member for the long term; must be in the interest of the credit union, or the credit union will not be able to continue to deliver benefits to members and most importantly our community engagement must be of benefit to, and in the interest of the community, in which our members live and work.
