Assisting our Members through Financial Difficulties

Holiday Coast Credit Union is committed to improving the financial and social well being of our members.

We understand that sometimes circumstances beyond your control can make it hard to meet your loan commitments. The best way to deal with these circumstances is to talk to us.

If you are facing Financial Difficulties

Holiday Coast Credit Union encourages you to discuss your situation with us by:

  • Calling 1300 365 7 24 between 8am and 6pm
  • Contacting your local branch or
  • Emailing us by clicking here

We can provide a range of options to assist you with your Holiday Coast Credit Union Loans, including;

  • Extending your loan contract and reducing the amount of your repayment.
  • Short term reductions in interest rates or repayments.
  • Providing interest only payments short term.
  • Extending the loan contract and postponing of repayments for a specified period of time.
  • Temporary overdrafts on a one-off period and temporary basis to suit short term needs.

Members who apply for Financial Hardship assistance are required to complete the Financial Hardship Application:

This will allow us to assess your individual circumstances and develop a plan to suit your needs.

Financial counselling is a free community service provided by financial counsellors working in not for profit organisations that assist consumers who are experiencing financial problems.
